National

Whether it’s support with your finances and your mental health or needing some direction on where to look, our National services will guide you to the right support that you need.

National Advice and Support Service

Money worries and mental health are often connected. Mental health problems make it harder to recover from financial difficulty, which in turn can both prolong and worsen periods of poor mental health.

Our National Advice and Support Service can provide support and signposting for a wide range of topics, such as looking after your own mental health or caring for someone with mental health problems. We’ll help connect you with the most appropriate local support, including our own Change Mental Health services.

We have an experienced team of advisers who can also help with any money worries you might have, including:

  • Carrying out a benefit check to ensure you are in receiving everything you are entitled to
  • Completing applications for benefits with you
  • Applying for grants such as fuel vouchers, crisis grants and community care grants
  • Offering debt advice and support.
Please note our National Advice and Support Service is not a crisis service.

If you are experiencing significant mental health distress and require urgent support, we encourage you to contact any of the organisations at the bottom of this page.
